Terms of Use

1. In general

1.1. These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the conditions for accessing and using belit.ai. By accessing or using the Website or the Services, the User agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms and the Privacy Policy. A User who does not agree with any part of these Terms should not use belit.ai.

1.2. These Terms apply to the website at belit.ai and to the belit.ai Services.

1.3. belit.ai belongs to Teknoma Teknolojik Ltd Sti ("Teknoma", "we", "us"). These Terms constitute the legal and binding agreement between Teknoma and the User. A person who uses the Services on behalf of a company accepts these Terms for that company and confirms that they are authorised to do so.

Teknoma's registered address is İzmir Teknoloji Geliştirme Bölgesi İYTE, 35430, Urla, İzmir.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• belit.ai: Teknoma's brand, and the name of the Website and the Services.
• Website: the public pages at belit.ai.
• Services: the belit.ai marketing agent for software companies, available to invited Users.
• User: any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Website or the Services, including persons the customer admits to its workspace.
• Content: what the User provides to the Services: a connected repository, a web address, answers to the intake form, edits and feedback.
• Output: what the Services produce for the User, such as product profiles, competitor sets, strategies and, when available, advertisements.

3. General terms of use

3.1. By using belit.ai, the User is deemed to have read and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the other policies published on the Website, without any separate declaration of acceptance.

3.2. The User must be of legal age to enter into a binding contract, and at least 18 years old. The Services are intended for use in the User's trade, business or profession. If the User is not of the required age or is legally restricted, the User should not use belit.ai, as the declaration of acceptance would have no legal validity.

3.3. The Services are in private testing and are available only to accounts invited by Teknoma. A request for early access sent to hello@belit.ai does not create a contract or guarantee access.

4. Changes to the terms

4.1. Teknoma may, at its sole discretion, change these Terms or introduce new services and conditions.

4.2. Updated Terms enter into force on publication, with the revision date stated at the top. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

5. Use of content and services

5.1. The use of belit.ai is subject to these Terms and to the permissions and limitations set by law.

5.2. The Services read the product the User provides (a GitHub repository, a public web address or a form), research public web pages, app store listings and public advertisements about it and its competitors, and propose a product profile, a competitor set and a marketing strategy. Advertisement production, publication to the User's own Meta ad account, performance review, and measurement of how AI assistants describe the product are in development and not yet available. Statements about future features describe plans, not commitments, and nothing on the Website is an offer to sell.

5.3. The User retains all rights in its Content. The User grants Teknoma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and analyse the Content, and to transmit it to the service providers named in the Privacy Policy, such as the AI model providers, solely as necessary to provide the Services. This licence ends when the Content is deleted, except for copies the law requires Teknoma to keep. The User is solely responsible for its Content and shall provide only Content it owns or is authorised to use, without infringing third-party rights or violating any law.

5.4. The Output is produced with AI models and may be inaccurate, incomplete or not unique; another User may receive similar Output. The User should verify the Output independently before relying on it for business, marketing or spending decisions, and shall label AI-generated content where the law requires.

5.5. Every step of the Services ends in a proposal that the User may approve, edit or reject. An approval covers the exact version shown; any change requires a new approval. Nothing is written to the User's systems or ad account before approval. The User is responsible for what it approves, including the decision to publish an advertisement and its content.

5.6. belit.ai relies on third-party services, including AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI and Google), research providers, Google sign-in, GitHub and, when available, Meta. By connecting GitHub or Meta, the User agrees to and shall comply with their terms, including Meta's advertising policies. Teknoma is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of third-party services or linked websites, which the User uses at its own risk.

6. Responsibility for the use of belit.ai

6.1. The Services are provided for informational and analytical purposes. Any use other than that permitted by these Terms is the sole responsibility of the User.

6.2. Teknoma takes reasonable data security measures in accordance with applicable data protection laws, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6.3. The User is responsible for the device, browser and internet connection it uses, and Teknoma has no liability where belit.ai cannot be used properly because of them.

6.4. Teknoma may determine the browsers and devices on which belit.ai can be used, and belit.ai may be unavailable during improvements, updates or maintenance, or for reasons beyond Teknoma's control. The User shall have no claim against Teknoma in this regard.

6.5. The User signs in to the Services with a Google account. Each account belongs to a single User and may not be shared with or transferred to third parties. The User shall keep its Google account secure and is responsible for all actions taken through its account, including approvals made by any person the User allows to use it.

6.6. Teknoma is not responsible for loss caused by unauthorised access to the User's account resulting from the User sharing the account or failing to keep its Google account secure. The User shall notify Teknoma immediately at support@belit.ai of any suspected unauthorised use.

6.7. Where a feature requires a connected third-party account, such as GitHub or, when available, Meta, the User shall provide accurate and up-to-date information. Teknoma is not liable for failures resulting from incorrect or outdated information.

7. Usage and budgets

7.1. The Services use paid AI models and research providers. The Services show the cost of each step and operate within the budget shown for the User's workspace; a step that would exceed the budget does not start.

7.2. While belit.ai is in private testing, Teknoma does not charge for the Services. If paid plans are offered, their prices and conditions shall be shown to the User before purchase, and the Refund Policy shall apply.

8. No warranty and limitations

8.1. belit.ai and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.2. Teknoma does not guarantee that belit.ai is secure, error-free, free of viruses or always available, or that the Output will be original, accurate or achieve any result.

8.3. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teknoma is not responsible for:

• the use of, or inability to use, the Website or the Services;
• the originality, accuracy or quality of the Output, or decisions made based on it;
• errors, omissions or inaccuracies in belit.ai or its content;
• unauthorised access to accounts or data that Teknoma could not reasonably prevent;
• acts or omissions of third-party services, including AI model providers, GitHub and Meta.

8.4. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Teknoma shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or data loss, even if informed of their possibility. Any claim shall be brought within one (1) year from the date of the event giving rise to it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence or intent.

8.5. The User shall compensate Teknoma for any loss and reasonable costs arising from a third-party claim caused by the User's Content, the advertisements the User approved, or the User's breach of these Terms or of the law, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Personal data and privacy

9.1. The protection of Users' personal data is important to Teknoma. Please read the Privacy Policy for detailed information on the processing of personal data.

10. Intellectual property rights

10.1. All intellectual and industrial property rights in the Website and the Services, including their design, text, logos and software, belong to Teknoma or are used under authorisation. Except for the Content and the Output, no User acquires such rights through use.

10.2. No part of the Website or the Services may be copied, reproduced, distributed, published or modified without Teknoma's written permission, except that Users may read, link to and share the Website's pages.

10.3. As between the User and Teknoma, the Output produced for the User belongs to the User. The User grants Teknoma the same licence over the Output as over the Content, so that Teknoma can store it, display it to the User and, upon approval, publish it where the User directs. The User remains responsible for ensuring that its Content and the Output it uses do not infringe the rights of others.

10.4. Teknoma grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Services for the User's own business while these Terms apply. This licence does not cover Teknoma's trademarks, copyrights, APIs or other intellectual property. Requests for such uses should be sent to support@belit.ai.

11. Feedback

11.1. Ideas, suggestions or feedback submitted about belit.ai are considered non-confidential, and the User grants Teknoma a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use them to improve its products and services. Any personal data in them is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

12. Prohibited uses

12.1. belit.ai may not be used for any illegal or harmful purpose, including to:

• violate any law or regulation, or encourage others to do so;
• infringe intellectual property or other rights of third parties;
• harass, defame or harm others, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin or disability;
• provide false or misleading information, or produce advertisements that are deceptive or violate advertising rules;
• produce or promote sexual content involving minors, pornography, narcotic substances, prescription drugs without prescription, terrorism or racism;
• upload or transmit viruses or malicious code, or interfere with the security of belit.ai or any other website;
• collect or monitor the personal data of others, or engage in spamming or phishing;
• send more requests to belit.ai than a person could, or scrape or crawl the Services;
• reverse engineer the Services or attempt to obtain their source code;
• copy, publish or make available belit.ai content on other platforms without permission.

12.2. Unauthorised use of belit.ai content or any other violation of these Terms may be reported to support@belit.ai. Teknoma shall investigate and may restrict or remove the account concerned, or take no action where a violation cannot be established.

12.3. Where an unlawful act is suspected, Teknoma may cooperate with the relevant authorities and share the data they lawfully request, and may take legal action. The User is responsible for any resulting damage, including third-party claims.

13. Violation of terms

13.1. If the User breaches or attempts to breach these Terms or the Privacy Policy, Teknoma may suspend or terminate the User's access without prior notice and remove the related information from the Services. Teknoma's failure to exercise a right under these Terms or the law does not constitute a waiver of that right.

14. Termination and survival

14.1. In addition to the cases above, Teknoma may suspend or terminate access to the Services where:

• the User violates these Terms or Teknoma's policies;
• the User has no right of use due to legal restrictions;
• the law or a decision of an administrative or regulatory body requires it;
• access is lost due to legal regulations or force majeure;
• an infringement of intellectual property rights arising from the Content or the Output is detected or notified.

14.2. These Terms remain in effect until terminated. The User may terminate them at any time by ceasing to use belit.ai and requesting the closure of its account at support@belit.ai. The User's data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy, except anonymised data and data the law requires to be retained, and cannot be recovered.

14.3. Upon termination, the provisions on personal data, intellectual property, limitation of liability, the User's liability to Teknoma, and dispute resolution remain in force.

15. Records

15.1. In disputes arising from the use of belit.ai, Teknoma's electronic records, including account information, logs, approval records and emails sent to Users, may be used as evidence to the extent permitted by law.

16. Integrity

16.1. If any court or administrative authority finds a provision of these Terms unlawful, the other provisions remain valid and in force.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

Notice of dispute: The party raising a dispute shall give the other written notice stating its name and contact information, the facts and the relief requested. The User shall send notices to support@belit.ai; Teknoma shall send notices to the User by post if an address is available, or otherwise by email. The parties shall attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation within fifty (50) days from the date the notice is sent.

Governing law and jurisdiction: If the dispute is not resolved within fifty (50) days, either party may bring an action in court. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts and enforcement offices of İzmir, Türkiye, have exclusive jurisdiction.
